Front side windows have to let in at least 70% of light. Rear side windows and the back glass can be any shade, as long as you have dual side mirrors. The windshield can take a non-reflective strip across the top 4 inches. We’ll show you what’s legal for your car before we start.

Keep the windows rolled up for 24–48 hours so the film can cure. After that, clean with soap and water and a soft cloth. Skip ammonia-based glass cleaners.
